Hey Guys, its time to kick off the beginning of Mischief Productions. Central Florida Racing Complex hosted a fun grassroots drift competition this past weekend titled Summer SlideFest 2010 and I was there to take tons of great pictures of all the action. While the guys out there this past weekend werent quite Formula D material, they didnt hold back and put on a great show for the large number of fans who watched through torrential rain and blazing sunshine!
Throughout the whole event, these two FC's kept the drifting exciting, tearing up the course when it finally dried up.
The atmosphere was perfect for the cloudy day, keeping everything mellow and relaxing considering the good size crowd that turned out for the day.
This Toyota Cressida turned a lot of heads with its hot stance, although it left the event rather early...
Rain couldn't ruin SlideFest, just adding a hidden beauty to the cars sitting in the car show.
Patrick Goodin, a rising star in the drift scene, gave the crowds quite a show, beating out an S14 in tandems for a spot in the top four for the day.
Even the rain couldn't dampen Pat's spirits!
Now for some drift action!!! Dont you just love the camber??
The whole day wasn't serious competition, with a number of drivers giving the crowd a show with one handed drifts and vuvuzuelas...
A little water to keep the tires cool...
One of the top competitors of the day, beautifully built FC.
Here are a few different style pics that i editted differently, still learning obviously...
And one final picture of Pat doing what he does best.
I hope you guys enjoyed the coverage, look for more pics coming soon as I search for more action to cover and hopefully a few spotlights to come too.
